Below is the schedule for next week’s tryouts. Please note, some tryouts will be held at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park which is a turf field where no metal spikes are permitted. Please come prepared. On days we are scheduled to be at Yorktown, please be sure to bring shoes in case we are indoors for any portion of tryouts as well. I will update the Stack schedule if it looks like we will be indoors any day next week.

Varsity Tryouts are for players in Grades 10, 11 and 12 and will run from Monday 2/23 to Wednesday 2/25, with final cuts taking place after tryouts on Wednesday. Sophomores who get cut from the Varsity team will have the opportunity to tryout for JV on Thursday.

Junior Varsity Tryouts are for players in Grades 8 and 9 and will run at least from Monday 2/23 to Thursday 2/26. If we miss tryout time due to poor weather or field conditions, we may extend tryouts to Friday 2/28 if we feel it necessary. There will be multiple rounds of cuts for JV that will take place after tryouts on Wednesday and Thursday.

Please note, there will be mandatory events all day Saturday 2/28 for both teams once rosters are formed. Please plan accordingly.

Once the season begins, Varsity will typically practice everyday at 330 and JV will typically practice at 530, though they may start a bit earlier as we get deeper into the season.
